કુરઆનમાં છે કે પયગંબર હઝરત ઇબ્રાહીમના ઘરે મહેમાનો આવ્યા તો એમણે એમ કહીને કે 'તમે સલામત રહો, તમે સન્માનીય લોકો છે,' મહેમાનોનું સ્વાગત કયઁુ. પયગંબર હઝરત મુહમ્મદ સાહેબનું કથન છે કે લોકોનું એમના મોભા મુજબ સન્માન કરો. નબીએ કરીમ સલ્લલ્લાહુ અલયહિ વ સલ્લમે એક હદીસમાં તો મહેમાનની આગતા સ્વાગતા કરવાને સાચા મુસલમાનો હોવાની નિશાની બતાવી છે.

અજમેર શરીફ
હાજી ઇમ્દાદુલ્લાહ રહ. ફરમાવે છે કે બે માણસો વાતચીત કરતા હતા. વાતચીત દરમિયાન એક માણસ 'અજમેર શરીફ' બોલ્યો. બીજાએ કહયું કે અજમેર અજમેર છે. શરીફ હોવાનો શું મતલબ ? પહેલાએ જવાબ આપ્યો કે તમને કોઈ પૂછે છે કે 'મિજાઝ શરીફ કેસે હેં?' એને તમે રોકતા નથી. તમારો મિજાઝ તો શરીફ હોય શકે છે અને બુઝુગર્ોના કારણે અજમેરના શરીફ હોવા વિશે તમને વાંધો છે ?

જીવન અને મોત
જિંદગીમાં આપણા નામો અને લિબાસ અલગ અલગ હોય છે. અમીર, ગરીબ, નાનો, મોટો, અફસર, ચાકર, ડોકટર, એન્જિનયર , શિક્ષાક, વિદ્યાર્થી... વગેરે.. પણ મૃત્યુ પછી બધાનું એક જ નામ હોય છે. 'મય્યિત'. અને લિબાસ પણ એક જ. 'કફન'.

ફુઝૈલ બિન અયાઝ ફરમાવે છે કે, જો મને બે વાતોમાંથી એકને પસંદ કરવાનું કહેવામાં આવે કે, કાં તો મરવા પછી આખિરતમાં ફરી પેદા થઈને જન્નતમાં જાઓ અથવા મરવા પછી ફરી પેદા જ નહી થવું. તો હું જન્નતમાં જવા કરતાં ફરી પેદા ન થવાને પસંદ કરીશ. આ કથન વર્ણવનાર મુહમ્મદ બિન હાતિમ ફરમાવે છે કે આનું કારણ અલ્લાહ તઆલાનો ડર અને હયા છે.
અને અબૂ સુલૈમાન રહ. ફરમાવે છે કે હું તો અલ્લાહ તઆલાની સામે જઈને અલ્લાહ તઆલાનો દીદાર કરીને આંખો ઠંડી કરવાને વધુ પસંદ કરીશ. અલ્લામહ ઇબ્ને રજબ આ બન્ને વાતો નકલ કરીને લખે છે કે શેખ અબૂ ઝેદ રહ

નફહાતુલ ઉન્સમાં છે કે, હઝરત ઇબ્રાહીમ અદહમ રહ., અલી બક્કાર રહ. હુઝયફહ મરઅશી રહ. અને સુલેમાન ખવાસ રહ.એ પરસ્પર કરાર કયર્ો હતો કે, પૂરી રીતે હલાલ હોય એવી વસ્તુ જ ખાઈશું. અલબત્ત આવી સંપૂર્ણ હલાલ વસ્તુ એમને મળવી અઘરી થઈ પડી. એટલે નાછુટકે સૌથી વધારે હલાલ જે વસ્તુ લાગી એને ખાવાનું નક્કી કયઁુ, પરંતુ ફકત એટલી જ માત્રામાં જેેને ખાધા વગર કોઈ છુટકો ન હોય, એટલે કે જાન બચાવવા અને ઇબાદત કરવા પૂરતી જ ખાતા હતા.
